100 FREE tips to get rid of fat forever! TIP #6 GET ACTIVE!

                                                     100 TIPS IN 100 DAYS
                                                       TIP #6 GET ACTIVE

Now, this should be a given, everyone should know that you need exercise daily if you want to get in shape.  But honestly, you need exercise daily anyway.  You don't need to start out lifting weights for an hour or jogging or taking a zumba class, and if you are not active now, I wouldn't recommend starting out like this at all!  You should take it in slower steps, increasing your activity every single day, but make sure you are taking some time every single day!  There are a lot of exercise programs that tell you to exercise 3 - 5 times a week.  I am suggesting that you start to learn how to love exercise, and do it DAILY .  Just like meditation, exercise shouldn't be skipped, not even for the weekend.  But you can train your mind and body to want to exercise every day, and you will find that this is very easy to do.

A good example of what your exercise routine should look like is this.  Day 1, walk with weights for 15 minutes. Day 2, walk with weights for 20 minutes.  Day 3, Walk with weights for 25 minutes.  Day 4, walk with weights for 30 minutes.  Day 5, walk with weights for 30 minutes and then do 10 squats.  Day 6, walk with weights for 30 minutes, then do 10 squats and 10 sit ups.  Day 7, walk with weights for 30 minutes, then do 10 squats, 10 sit ups, and 10 arm raises. ..... get the picture?  You should be starting out with what you can handle, and then add a little more each time, but make sure you are always adding and not taking away.  If you find that you have given yourself too much to handle, then you can reformulate, but reach for more each day not less. You have to be constantly increasing the amount of exercise so your body does not plateau.

Write down an entire 30 day exercise plan, and stick with it each day.  Make sure you are using weights, they can be 1 pound weights if that is all you can handle for now, but make sure you use some kind of weight.  When you reach your 30 days, keep the same plan, but now instead of walking, put a little more bounce to your step, increase the amount of repititions you do of sit ups, squats, etc, and add more weight, 1 pound more will be find.  The important thing is that you are exercising every day and adding a little more each day.  Take it as slow as you want, and do what feels right to you.

Before you know it, you will be able to take on anything!  You'll have so much energy, feel lighter and free, and you'll be able to take on activities you wouldn't have been able to when you started out.  If you start an exercise program that is intense and lasts for hours, you will get exhausted and give up on it, the only way to get from your sitting on your couch all day to running a marathon (speaking in examples) is by taking it one day at a time, and adding more each day.  If you tried to get up one day and run that marathon without taking it in steps, you'd wear yourself out.

You can use meditation to look at exercise in a different light.  Exercise should be a meditation of it's own.  If you can exercise every morning, your day will start out better, and most likely go that way the rest of the day as long as you don't let anything else bother you!  Remember to keep thinking positive and happy thoughts about yourself and others all day long as well.  If you are starting out your day with a positive outlook, then calming your mind and body with meditation, using meditation to make you feel good about exercise, and then getting active while also following all of the other tips I have laid out, you are sure to succeed.

If you skip ANY of the tips I have laid out, however, or let negative thinking overcome you, then you are less likely.

So, TIP #6 is, no matter how busy your day, it is CRUCIAL that you find time to exercise DAILY.  Use meditation to make you feel good about exercise. Start out small and slow, and use some kind of weights, (walks are very good to start with) and add a little more each day, and watch the pounds burn off!
