100 FREE tips to get rid of fat forever! TIP #7 SET CLEAR GOALS

                                                         100 TIPS IN 100 DAYS
                                                    TIP #7 SET CLEAR GOALS

You should have a goal weight, an exact number of pounds you want to get rid of, a picture in mind of exaclty what you want to look like when you reach your goal weight, how much time you want to exercise a day, what types of food choices you want to make everyday, and a date by which you give yourself to achieve your goal weight.  You should set a daily goal to make this happen, and you should always make sure that your goals are attainable, realistic for your beliefs, and you should be 100% confident and determined to reach this goal.  Make it to where there is no doubt in your mind, and live like you are already that size, weight or shape.  See yourself as that person, DO NOT see yourself as a bigger person that will be smaller soon, this will only paralize you from reaching your goal.  Know that the person you want to be is actually the person you already are and do everything you can to make sure that happens.

When I say set daily goals, I mean pick an exact number of pounds or fat you want to burn a day.  For example, everyday you will burn 1 pound of fat or 1/2 pound of fat, whatever you truly KNOW you can do.  And work on this number every day.  When you are doing your exercises, keep in mind that you are burning ___ pounds for that day.  Gather photos of what you want your body type to look like.  These can be from magazines, off of the internet, whatever you choose.  Keep these photos somewhere where you can look at them, and then close your eyes and see this as your body. It is very important to have these visual goals too.

Write down your goals on a piece of paper, and write them in present tense as if they have already happened.  For example, your goals could look something like this "I am burning 1 pound of fat off of my body everyday, and I am reaching my goal weight of 120 pounds.  This goal will be complete by January 1 2012.  I am making great food choices and eating all natural foods, I am exercising for 1 hour a day.  My body is shrinking in size, and I have defined muscles all over my body" Or whatever goals you have in mind.

I would have a final total of what you want to weigh, (if you are 200 pounds now and you want to weigh 100 pounds, don't listen to others saying it will not happen, if that is truly what you want, and it is SAFE for your height and age, then go for it, write down what you want, not what others think you can achieve)  and how many pounds you want to get rid of DAILY.  If you are looking to get rid of 1 pound a day, it will take 100 days for you to go from 200 pounds to 100 pounds.  If today were January 1 2011, then April 10 2011 is when you goal should be met.  There for your goal would look something like this

"I am burning off 1 pound of fat from my body every day.  I am reaching my goal weight of 100 pounds very quickly, and this goal will be complete April 10 2011.  My new weight today is 199 pounds, and I am proud of my food choices, I am eating all natural foods in size portions that are no bigger than my fist, my meals are 4 hours apart, and I am exercising for 1 hour a day."  (your new weight today should change everyday, getting one pound less each day)  and then visualise in your mind what this body looks like, don't skip over the visualising part.

Every single day, you should state what your new weight for the day is, but do not weigh yourself to confirm this, and make sure that you are really doing what it takes.  If you weigh yourself and you are not where you thought you should be, it can be very distracting and you can hurt your chances for getting there.  Sometimes your body will need to catch up, but as long as you are making sure you reach your goals daily, and you live as though you are already that weight, you will be there in no time.  You can't state that you are burning off a pound of fat a day if you are not doing anything to burn it and eating junk all day.  Make sure you stick to your goals.  Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat as well, so if you are replacing fat with muscle, you may automatically weigh a little bit more then you wanted, but you will still be in great shape.

Write down your goals and look at them daily.  Write in a journal what your new weight is for every day, making sure it is the exact amount you said you would burn a day.  Stick to these goals like they are a contract, and you will be at your goal in no time!

So, TIP #7, Set clearly defined goals that you KNOW without a doubt you will reach.  Live as though those goals have already been achieved, write them down, and read them daily.  Make sure your goals include how much you want to weigh, how many pounds you want to burn off a day, what length of time you want to exercise for, what types of food choices you are making, a date by which this will happen, and a visual goal of what you will look like.  State them in present tense and act as though you already achieved it, and FOLLOW THROUGH!!
