100 FREE tips to get rid of fat forever! TIP #19 SUPPLEMENTS

                                                          100 TIPS IN 100 DAYS
                                                        TIP #19 SUPPLEMENTS

There is all sorts of talk about whether or not supplements are good or bad for you.  I believe that most supplements can be both good and bad depending on how the individual feels about them.  Follow your gut and intuition.  If something feels wrong and you feel like you shouldn't take it, don't.  And if something feels right, and you feel like this could make you feel good, then take it.

L-Carnitine is a great supplement to take.  It is an amino acid that helps break down fat and uses it for energy.  It is all natural and an essential amino acid.  L-Arginine is also an essential amino acid that helps repair muscle and is best taken after working out.  You can find L-Arginine inside of Nitric Oxide, which is another supplement you can take when you exercise.  This helps blood flow, use of oxygen, energy levels, muscle growth, mental focus, strength, endurance, and muscle repair after workouts.  It is in powder form (which I like the best) to be mixed and taken as a drink, or pill form.  There are more expensive brands at GNC, or you can go pick it up at Walmart, the name is N.O. Fury.  Obviously follow directions correctly and don't take too much.

A daily multi vitamin is great to take as well.  One that I would suggest is Nature's Way "ALIVE!" it has 26 fruits and vegetables, as well as your daily vitamins, including a mixture of berries, acai, and wheat grass, which are all EXCELENT for your health.  Even though you shouldn't depend on a pill to give you your daily fruit and vegetable intake, this can really help out.

These can also be bought at walmart for under $10.  You'll find niacin, B vitamins, Biotin, Iodine, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E which are all used for weight and/or beauty.   Biotin and Vitamin E will keep your skin, hair, and nails healthy and growing, B vitamins will keep energy levels up, Niacin and Vitamin C help to get rid of toxins, and  Iodine can help you to lose weight, and is especially helpful if you have a thyroid problem.  There are many benefits to all of these vitamins that I don't have time to list, but since many people don't know the benefits of iodine, I have left a link to an article if you want to read about it.  You can find it here http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/natural/35.html

Cinnamon can also be found in pill form and can be taken to break down the sugar in your body.  Cayenne pepper (also in pill form) can increase metabolism.  Remember that any of these supplements I mention can be found at walmart for very low prices, but should never be taken in excess.  Too much of anything can lead to health problems as well.

Protein shakes are another great supplement to add to your diet, and it is a good idea to use meal replacement shakes.  Just make sure that the ones you purchase aren't filled with sugar.  Slim fast is one of those that is full of sugar, suprisingly enough to some people.  Right size smoothie is a good one (sold at Albersons and online http://www.rightsizeonline.com/ ) and Jillian Michaels from The Biggest Loser has shakes and protein powder that you can buy.  There are many others that are great, not just these, just check the back and make sure the sugar is low and it has everything else you are looking for such as the protein and nutrients.

Jillian Michaels also has fat burners and detox systems that are only to be taken for about a week, and they seem to be the safest to me.  But again, you have to trust your gut, and if your gut says not to, don't.  You can visit her website for a free 7 day trial at http://www.jillianweightloss.com/membership

Remember that not all supplements are going to be good for you, and if you don't like how they make you feel, don't take them, but that also doesn't mean that taking supplements is a bad thing.  They can be great and help move things along faster in a healthy way, as long as they are not taken in excess, you follow the directions and stick to the more natural products.

So, TIP #19, supplements can be a great thing to take to help you move things along, and help you to be healthier, stronger, and give more energy.  Some of the ones I suggest are L-Carnitine, L-Arginine, Nitric Oxide, Nature's Way "ALIVE" vitamins (as well as iodine which is found in these vitamins), Cinnamon, Cayenne Pepper, protein shakes, low sugar meal replacement shakes, (such as Jillian Micheals or right size smoothie) and some natural fat burner and detox pills such as Jillian Michaels line of supplements.  Remember to trust your gut and your instincts, never over-do it, and always discontinue use if you don't like the way you feel.  All of these can be found fairly cheap at Walmart as well.  Take these responsibly and you'll be burning fat in no time!
