     Meditation is one of the most important things you could do for yourself if you want to make anything happen.  It slows down your thinking, gives you a calm and relaxed look on things, helps you to relieve stress, and there are some types of meditation that you use for "programming" your mind to think a certain way.  Most people's lives are busy and hectic, if they could learn to slow their minds down a minute, they would find that everything runs much smoother!  It is even easier to build up the energy to exercise after relaxing with meditation.

    Try this, go to a quiet room by yourself, close your eyes and breath in and out slowly, though your nose if you can.  Concentrate on your breathing and your breathing alone.  If a thought enters your head, just let it go and go back to focusing on your breathing.  Feel at one with everything, and release all tention in your mind and your body.  Just take big deep breaths and feel deeply relaxed.  Do this for as long as you can, and when you are ready to get up and go on with your day, before you open your eyes, while you are still in this relaxed state, repeat to yourself mentally "I am full of energy" "It feels great to exercise" or any little comments that you think of that will get you going.  Just keep repeating them over and over until they feel real, keep trying to feel that which you are thinking.  If you are saying "I am full of energy", start to feel a burst of energy come over you, and keep repeating this until you actually feel it and are ready to get up and exercise or be active.

You should set aside time for meditation every single day.  3 times a day is ideal, and 15 minutes each time is very good, but if all you have is 5 minutes a day 1 time a day, that is so much better then nothing at all, so atleast do that.

So, TIP #5, set aside some kind of time EVERY day for meditation to relieve stress, calm your nerves, get a better grip on things, and to build up the energy for exercise and activeness.  When done right and done everyday, the effects are incredible.
